At
the inaugural Quartz young and old enjoyed a huge range of work.
The sixth Quartz visual arts festival will be held at Queen's College, Taunton, from Wednesday 6th to Saturday 16th October 2010. The public are invited to come on to the campus, walk the sculpture trail and visit the painting and print exhibitions - and enjoy the Quartz Cafe.
Anyone
is welcome to visit Quartz. Our goal is to create an artistic event
at the highest professional and creative level, giving visitors and
pupils an enriching and stimulating experience. Open to artists living in the South West, most of the work will
be for sale, much of it highly affordable.
Most
days of the festival will see a performance event staged in the evening.
Shows will range from dance to classic rock via stand-up comedy.
