Peter Sissons
A distinguished elder statesman of UK broadcasting, Peter Sissons has been a familiar face on British television news since the late 1960s. He was shot in the Nigerian civil war, anchored Channel 4 news for its first five years, and has presented BBC programmes from Question Time to the Ten O’Clock News. Sissons is highly critical of how television news now operates and his forthcoming book is likely to be both memoir and polemic.
